In October 2019, Pine Electronics completed a successful ISO 9001: 2015 audit with zero nonconformities. As a contract manufacturer of PCB assemblies with industrial and often critical applications, Pine understands there is no room for error. The company credits the successful audit to the commitment to quality demonstrated by all employees.
Bureau Veritas Lead Auditor, Jim Tregaskis states:
“Pine Electronics continues to grow and show profitability as a private, family-owned business that takes pride in its ability to develop strong customer partnerships and provide long-term employment for its many loyal employees. The President has clearly defined the company’s customer base and product focus in the Company’s Operating Plan. Success is defined by its philosophy to “lead with compassion, follow with respect, interact with integrity, labor with diligence and invest with wisdom.” At the same time, management understands the importance to continually improve by investing in people and equipment to reduce risk and nonconformance. They take their ISO certification very seriously.
Pine Electronics has had a strong history of an effective ISO management system. Once again, I am pleased to report that there were no gaps or significant weaknesses identified in the management system. The audit validated the status of the system.”
Quality and customer service are key differentiating factors for contract manufacturers. The Pine Electronics quality policy states that each employee will strive to improve their process and the quality system. Their objective is to satisfy each customer by meeting requirements and providing reliable products on time and at a fair price. It is this commitment that has established the trust and loyalty with customers.
Pine Electronics has always had a focus on quality becoming an early adopter of ISO certification in 2003. Their continued certification is valid through October 2020 at which time the next audit will be scheduled.
